What is the Multiple Listing Service ( MLS ) ?

Is there a selling agent commission?

Is there a buyers agent commission?
Yes. When a realtor brings a buyer, presents a qualified offer to purchase or rent , and you accept., then a commission is due that agent at the time of closing. Usually the commission is between 2-3% for most for sale properties and half a months rent for rentals. We recommend that you offer the commonly used range of commissions so that your listing has the attention of local agents.
What if I find a buyer myself?
No commissions are due if a realtor is not involved with the transaction.
Am I able to cancel my MLS listing ?
Yes. You my cancel your MLS listing at any time and for any reason. The only exception would be if your were in contract and a realtor is involved.
